"I will forever be fighting and praying for a cure.”
Diagnosed in 2008 after nursing my daughter for nine months and my left breast became painful, dimpled and was leaking. Asked the doctor in 2007 and doctor ignored me. I had enough and made dr listen and give me a mammogram which revealed stage 4 metastatic breast cancer that spread to me lymph nodes under my arm and 5 of 12 had cancer and a small piece on my liver.
I went through 3 months of chemo, double mastectomy, 16 weeks of radiation on my chest wall and 5 high doses of radiation on my liver and went on tamoxifen for 5 years. In 2014 my period returned and so did my cancer on my lung. So I had a full hysterectomy and went on letrozole and Ibrance until it became active on my lining of my esophagus and left side of my lung. I had several procedures and went on Fluvestrant injections and added Affinitor chemo. It was stable until this year 2018 and it became active on my T7 thoracic bone on outside of my spine. So I just finished 3 powerful doses of radiation on my spine.
Awaiting a new chemo med on compassionate use. Right side tumors are stable as is esophagus and left side of lung. I will forever be fighting and praying for a cure. 10/31/08 was when I was diagnosed.
