Every person impacted by cancer has a unique and powerful story.

That’s why campaigns such as It’s About Time are so important – and Gilda’s Club Chicago has been proud to lead this effort since 2015. We’re sharing stories of those living with and affected by metastatic breast cancer in an effort to spark a national conversation about the disease and drive action towards better treatment and a cure.

At the same time, we see individuals in our clubhouse every day who encounter all types of cancer as patients and caregivers. We believe that by sharing the compelling stories of everyone impacted by this disease, the collective voice can help drive change.

Toward that end, please join the new Cancer Experience Registry – a unique online community that helps the cancer community gain knowledge and insights about the social and emotional needs of patients, families and caregivers throughout the cancer journey through stories. The Cancer Support Community – of which Gilda’s Club Chicago is an active affiliate – will work with patients, health care providers, and policymakers to use this information to inform the development of new programs and research.

We need your help to identify the issues that are most important to those living with cancer and plan to use that information to fill the gaps in care and deliver improved services to this community.
