“I pray they can come up with something to give us more time.”

2021 Story

I have been in treatment since 2013. In 2012, I had cervical cancer and had a total Hysterectomy. I was misdiagnosed and told the lump in my breast was calcium and the size of a pea. In 2013, it was taken out. It was the size of a baseball - stage 3. Also, a lot of Lymph node involvement. I have been in remission and it came back 7 times. In 2014, I was diagnosed with stage for metastatic breast cancer. Since then, I have been on chemo every year, several different kinds, lots of surgeries, in total 68 radiation treatments. I have been on trodevly chemo since August of 2020 every 2 weeks. It’s a new chemo; I am so thankful for it. But we need more! I can’t work due to the side effects and cancer: neuropathy and fatigue. The costs are high for Medicare and drugs! I pray they can come up with something to give us more time. A cure would be awesome! I love my family and friends and want to be with them a lot longer!
