"There was never a time when Sandy was hopeless. She was always faithful and encouraging others."

My daughter, Jacqueline (Sandy) Sheppard, was diagnosed with Stage 2B Breast  Cancer in July  2013… Married July 27, 2013… Followed by the highs and lows of metastatic breast cancer. In October 2013, she was declared cancer free!

One year later, she was diagnosed with Stage IV Metastatic Breast Cancer to her lungs, liver, collar bone, & sternum. In December 2014, tumors disappeared in 3 out of 4 places, but in spring 2015, there no more good news. The tumors returned to her lungs, liver and brain.

There was never a time when Sandy was hopeless. She was always faithful and encouraging others.

In August 2015, we thought the uncountable tumors in the brain were the priority. After 2 days of whole brain radiation, Sandy’s liver could no longer perform its function. At 29 years of age, Sandy passed on 8/18/15, leaving her husband, Aaron, 2 children, Trey (10) and Autumn (3) and hundreds of inspired friends, family and strangers who followed her journey in person or on Facebook.  Her Facebook posts documented her feelings, diagnosis and public reactions from 2013-2015 (see Sandy Sheppard)
